I LOVE seagulls, and these are awesome shots. My only piece of advice would be to crop in tighter on the second shot. The gull at the very top of the frame is a little distracting. Otherwise, this is a great moment. I'm a sucker for animal/wildlife pictures. :-)

Thanks for the advice. I really didn't spend a lot of time cropping when I blogged them. I agree, he is distracting. I cleaned up the second image (a) just a bit, and went in for a tighter crop on (b). It definately has more impact, but I miss the wingspan.

Me too. Even though it looks kind of like he's got a little buddy along for the ride.

I had a couple really cute "blooper" shots that day as well,that make me lol. I may have to post them sometime too. :-)
