...remembering just isn't good enough. Especially when it's cold and rainy outside.

My First Sunset in Cozumel

Hola! I've gotten a little behind on my blogging-not for a lack of images. This was my first sunset in Cozumel, Mexico. It has been an amazing week--and I think my first REAL vacation! Except for the one day I was "working", it has been an all-inclusive adventure. I'll have more images later. It will likely be a slide show. Just wanted to update-adiós for now!

Craving something different?

"Brains" were just one of the many Halloween treats on display at the all lab/all day Halloween party. Aesthetically speaking, it was my favorite! The taste and texture were also great with only one thing missing to make it the best...CHOCOLATE. :-) Happy Halloween!!

Red, White, and Blue (and yellow)

This is one of those images that I really can't explain. I've driven by it numerous times and wanted to make this picture...not that I even care for the business this image includes. I guess it's just the color, composition, and the concept of America in general that got me. Anyway, on my way home from a sitting with an 18 month old today, I decided it needed to be done.

Classic Car

This classic car adorns a lawn on one of my break-time walk routes. The extent of my knowledge on classic cars is that it's old, blue, shiny, and a Ford. :-)

Frosty Aesthetics

Sub-zero weather conditions compete with warm store-front windows to produce beautiful, frosty aesthetics in downtown Waukesha, Wis., on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008. While the town was celebrating its annual JanBoree with ice sculpting and other various activities, nature created its own art.

Repetition

While out for a walk this past fall, I noticed these. I just love the shapes and the contrast. I'm so easily amused sometimes. :-)

Perspective

Sometimes simplicity says so much. I was shadowing on a hockey game assignment, and couldn't stop looking at the windows in the arena.
