I was assigned to cover Wartburg vs. Augsburg in the finals. Augsburg won for Division III. As soon as they were done I caught a couple of the last matches of Iowa vs. Cornell. I snuck in on the side, so my background isn't very clean, but I was physically closer than most of the other photographers since they were pushed back for the live broadcast. Since Iowa won, I decided to post just this one tonight. It's been a long and exciting weekend--my first chance at covering a large event. I'll have a few more to share later.

Chairs

©Dawn J. Sagert/The Waterloo Courier

I had a busy day today. Since I'm only a part-timer, my hours normally fall in the evenings or on weekends, meaning one to two assignments...maybe three in one shift. Today, I worked a full day shift, and had plenty of assignments to keep me busy. Not one of them was a sport either--but I'll make up for that tomorrow!
